Hi! I'm Justene, but my friends call me Jbaby.

I’m Justene — aka Jbaby — the photographer who blends into your wedding like I’ve been part of your crew for years.
I’m here to make wildly untraditional, personality-soaked photographs without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
I’m a people person to my core. The kind of person who can walk into a room full of strangers and leave knowing everyone’s names, who they came with, and probably what they’re drinking. It’s why one of my couples said I came with “a full-service experience, not to mention a friend for life.”
That connection is a huge part of how I work. I know when to hype you up, when to give you direction, when to chase something weird and beautiful, and when to disappear and let the real stuff happen.
Outside of weddings, I’m usually somewhere between enjoying friends and family, music, style, the outdoors (with my hiking buddy puppy-in-tow), and whatever adventure is next. That same energy shows up in the photographs: connected to the moment, curious, fun as hell, and just SO YOU.

Why I Limit My Calendar
I accept only fifteen wedding commissions per year.
Because this isn’t volume work....
It’s presence work.
It’s remembering your parents’ names.
It’s guiding timelines.
It’s answering the late night planning questions.
It’s delivering imagery that feels cinematic, not templated.
That level of attention is not scalable.
And I don’t want it to be.
